The Town of Hochatown is partnering with Granicus to enhance services for our short-term rental market. Effective October 1, 2024, we will no longer work with Avenu. This decision was made by the Town in order to provide a higher quality of service to the Town of Hochatown's short-term rental (STR) market.

What to Expect: The transition to Granicus will occur in two stages: 

• Temporary Solution: This will simplify the process for property owners and managers, reducing filing time, improving licensing and tax remittance.

• Long-Term Enhanced Portal:This comprehensive portal will offer features like account log-ins, bulk remittance for lodging tax, streamlined renewals, automated reminders and more. It is anticipated the Enhanced Portal will take 10-12 months before going live.
